Live Music @ Zambezi Fest '26- More To Come!!!
THIRD WHEEL - Friday 28th

Originating from South Africa, Third Wheel embody early 2000’s nostalgia in unique way. The musical equivalent of playing Snake on a Nokia 3310, or peeling the plastic wrap off a brand new CD. They are the ying to today’s yang, recreating a time when most people’s major concern in life was if their friend had received their SMS (which cost real money to send).
This dynamic act takes you back – but with a quality level and performance level which would rival popular 2000’s bands in their prime. Professional musicianship with a polished setup, the song choices are all singalongs – to the point that if an audience member has a voice left by the end of the show – they are the anomaly. London based, very enthusiastic. South African, with a lot of personality, always bringing good fun energy to those who stop and watch...
#HASHTAGS - Saturday 29th
Formed in 2015, HashTags has been captivating audiences across the Midlands with their dynamic and electrifying performances ever since. Renowned for their ability to bring classic hits and contemporary favourites to life, the band has built a strong reputation for delivering high-energy shows that will leave you wanting more.
Led by Rob Iliffe-Patel as lead vocalist, the group deliver powerful and captivating performances every time. With a voice that effortlessly moves between soaring highs and soulful lows, Rob brings a dynamic range and emotional depth to every song. His ability to connect with the audience and convey the essence of each track makes him an unforgettable frontman. Whether belting out anthems or delivering intimate, heartfelt lyrics, Rob drives the band’s energy and keeps the crowd engaged from start to finish.
JOSH ANSLEY - Saturday 29th

Josh Ansley has been singing and performing ever since childhood. He attended Lomagundi High School in Chinhoyi where he gained popularity for playing the role of Kinicke in the rendition of the popular 1978 American musical comedy “Grease”. This role is what started the passion for music and entertainment and on leaving school, Josh was involved in many productions at the Reps Theatre in Harare Zimbabwe.
It was there that Josh’s artistic journey evolved while starring in many musicals such as: Cabaret, Rent, and Joseph and the Technicolored Dream Coat. He then headed to Los Angeles in the United States to take his career further.
After making a short movie “Marza”, the call of Africa lead him back to start performing as a regular on the Barnyard Theatre circuit in South Africa. It was during this stint in his life that he fell in love and married his wife Kerryn.
“After all the years of auditions and travelling around, Kerryn deserves a better, more settled life, which is why I entered The Voice,” he explained. Josh’s blistering rendition of the AC/DC head-banging classic “Shook Me All Night Long” got him four chair turns and incredibly high praise from the panel of coaches. But it was Bobby van Jaarsveld who turned for Josh first, and with that #TeamBobby gained an energetic new member.

Leaving the Voice Season 2 as the Runner Up, was a boost for his career leading to many big events and shows such as: Starlight Classics, Rock of Ages the Musical, Six String Stories, a Journey Tribute Show and more. But in 2021, with their little girl on the way, it was decided that being around family to raise their child was a dream they couldn’t let go of. Josh and Kerryn moved back to Zimbabwe where they are still based. Opening for Prime Circle and UB40 feat. Ali Campbell have been some of the highlights of 2022 and 2023 and he looks forward to many more amazing shows in the future.
