Alex's musical journey began in South Africa in 2011, where he quickly established himself on the live music scene. He has performed at some of the country's best-known festivals, including Rocking the Daisies, and has shared stages with some of South Africa's biggest artists, including Ard Matthews, Jeremy Loops, The Parlotones, Watershed, and Matthew Mole.

His love of authentic songwriting also led him to the mountains of Hogsback, where he spent a month writing and recording his critically acclaimed second album, Introspection, released in 2017.

After relocating to the United Kingdom in 2018, Alex has continued to build an impressive international reputation. His original music has received regular airplay on BBC Introducing, while his captivating live performances have seen him appear at numerous festivals and BBC Introducing stages across the UK. He has also toured extensively throughout Germany and the Netherlands, proving that all you really need is a guitar, a loop pedal, and a great song to win over audiences.

Following the success of Introspection, Alex has released ten original singles, with his latest release, "Don't Be Fooled," launching in May 2026. He is currently working on his highly anticipated third studio album, due for release later this year.
