What are the dates of this year’s festival?
Zambezi Fest 2026 takes place over four incredible days, running from Thursday 27th August to Sunday 30th August 2026, inclusive.
The festival officially opens to the public at 6:00pm on Thursday 27th August, kicking off an unforgettable Bank Holiday weekend of music, culture, food, and celebration.
Camping access:
Campers holding Full Weekend Tickets may arrive and access the site from 12:00pm on Thursday 27th August.
What times does the festival run?
The main arena, stalls, and entertainment areas will be open at the following times:
- Thursday 27th August: 6:00pm – 11:00pm
- Friday 28th August: 12:00pm – 11:00pm
- Saturday 29th August: 9:00am – 11:00pm
- Sunday 30th August: 9:00am – 11:00pm
Please note that entry times may differ slightly for campers and traders, and final set times will be announced closer to the event.
Can I buy tickets at the gate?
Yes, Day Tickets will be available to purchase at the check-in gate on the day, subject to availability.
However, Full Weekend Tickets and Short Weekend Tickets must be purchased in advance via our website and will not be available at the gate. We strongly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Are cooler boxes, glass, and alcohol allowed in the main arena?
- Cooler boxes are permitted in the main arena for food items only, such as meat and supplies for braaing.
- Glass and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the main arena due to festival licensing conditions. This rule will be actively enforced by festival staff and security.
A fully stocked bar and a wide range of food vendors will be available in the main arena throughout the festival.
You are welcome to bring and consume your own alcohol only within the camping, glamping, caravan, and motorhome areas.

Are dogs allowed at the festival?
Yes, dogs are welcome at Zambezi Fest.
- All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, with no exceptions.
- Owners are responsible for their pets and must clean up after them.
- Please ensure your dog is comfortable in busy, noisy environments.
Are electric hook-ups available on the camping and caravan site?
Yes, electric hook-ups are available at an additional cost and must be booked in advance with your tickets.

- Electric hook-ups are limited and subject to availability
- We do not provide extension cables or adaptors – you must bring your own

When can I set up camp?
- Full Weekend Ticket holders:
- Access from 12:00pm on Thursday 27th August
- Must vacate the site by 12:00pm (midday) on Monday 31st August
- Short Weekend (Friday) Ticket holders:
- Access from 9:00am on Friday 28th August
- Must vacate the site by 10:00pm (midday) on Sunday 30th August
- Short Weekend (Saturday) Ticket holders:
- Access from 9:00am on Saturday 29th August
- Must vacate the site by 12:00pm (midday) on Monday 31st August
Is fresh water available and are there waste disposal facilities?
Yes. The site includes:
- A fresh water point
- Designated grey and black water disposal facilities for caravans and motorhomes
Please use these facilities responsibly.
Can I share an electric campsite with friends or family?
Yes, sharing is allowed as long as everyone remains within the allocated 10m x 10m pitch.
Please ensure cables are safely managed and do not pose a trip hazard.
Will I be able to park my car next to my electric caravan or campsite?
Vehicle movement will be restricted within the designated festival and camping areas.
Once you have unloaded and set up your caravan or campsite, vehicles must be moved to the allocated parking areas. This is to ensure safety and smooth access throughout the festival.
